Overview

The Inside Sales Consultant role is to develop and maintain sales relations with Inside Sales Accounts.

 

Schedule for position is Monday - Friday 11:30am - 8pm.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly sales KPI’s
  • Maintain Inside Sales CRM information in SalesForce.com and SAP with customer information, tasks, calendar, Inside Sales Tracker, and call notes
  • Build valuable relationships with all customers.
  • Inform customers of Educational Opportunities available. Schedule those with proper education team member.
  • Schedule purposeful calls 2-3 week customer calls to add value. Schedule follow up calls on all introductory orders within 5 days of delivery.
  • Complete daily scheduled follow up calls
  • Offer National and Local Promotions as well as appropriate Inside Sales Sampling opportunities to customers
  • Process orders received via phone, email or fax
  • Provide weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports (key performance indicators) of Inside Sales activity
  • Communicate customer feedback to Sales/SCM Management
  • Handle in-coming calls
  • Initiate calls for prospective new Inside Sales accounts identified by Sales Management
  • Conduct Marketing Surveys when necessary.
  • Provide support to call center operations as determined by the Supervisor
  • Able to recognize and produce up selling during the order process

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, or 4 year College Degree preferred
  • Willing to consider recent graduates who have an interest working within beauty industry
  • 1-3 years of experience in similar field with progressively higher skills and training
  • 1-3 years of experience in Telesales/Telemarketing with proven sales success
  • 3-5 years of experience in Customer Service, preferably in a call center environment with knowledge of Collection / Accounts Receivable functions
  • Schedule for position is Monday - Friday 11:30am - 8pm
  • Strong telesales/telemarketing sales skills
  • Experience with CRM such as SalesForce.com or similar platform skills
  • Strong data entry skills and knowledge of SAP software level 4.6 or similar platform
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to prepare business correspondence and reports; basic knowledge of chart, graph and table formatting
