  • Overview

    As a Brand Manager, Shopper Marketing for our Hand and Body Lotion Category Brands (Jergens and Curél), you will lead the development of a shopper-centric future vision and plan for each Strategic Customer, while strengthening brand equity and market share position.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    RETAIL & BRAND STRATEGY:  Maximize Brand Performance through Strategic Customers

    • Understand shoppers’ journey to connect and influence decision behavior
    • Develop Brand GTM plan in partnership with Strategic Retailers
    • Develop Brand Communication with Shopper Mindset to influence brand selection
    • Optimize Portfolio /Assortment in partnership with Sales team
    • Innovate Promotions to delight shoppers and retailers while maximizing return on investment

     

    CUSTOMER-SPECIFIC MARKETING:  Extend Brand Equity and Optimize Marketing Effectiveness through Strategic Customer Plans

    • Set Objectives/KPIs by Customer with Sales; align investment choices to objectives
    • Maximize effectiveness throughout program development and execution; measurement and optimization

     

    SALES / RETAILER VISION:   Ensure Customers are Aligned and Inspired by our Brand Vision & Plans

    • Develop, align and communicate category growth story and role of brands in HBL
    • Bring NPD to life in context of brand and retailer portfolios
    • Inspire Sales and Customers with compelling Sales Meeting and Customer Presentation content

     

    BUSINESS MANAGEMENT:  Drive Profitable Growth for Brands through Customers

    • Deliver sales and spend to Budgeted targets, in collaboration with Trade and Market Strategy & Delivery
    • Identify Shopper KPIs to ensure HBL Brands are at the heart (and wallet) of our target consumers

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Brand Management experience, 4-6 years, preferably in the consumer products industry
    • Strong analytical skills required – Proven ability to translate insights into action
    • Nielsen and/or IRI proficiency preferred
    • Strong work ethic with attention to details and timelines
    • Experience leading cross functional team members
