  • Overview

    This position, internally known as Marketing Assistant, is an integral part of the Bioré Brand Marketing & Communications team supporting on all influencer and communications programs and social media initiatives surrounding US daily business functions. This position will be heavily focused on social media and influencer-specific programming. In collaboration with the Senior Communications Manager and Bioré’s social & PR agencies, this individual will  help support planning, maintenance, and accurate execution of social content calendar, ensuring alignment with brand marketing calendar, influencer activations, product priorities, and channel-specific needs (ie e-commerce/retailer tagging, event/promotional support). In addition they will help support the growth of the brand’s community and social media influencer strategy to increase Earned Media Value (EMV) with particular focus on Instagram, Instagram Stories, and YouTube.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage social media agency in developing  engaging and brand-aligned content calendar every month; giving ownership and community management sense.
    • Help support the content strategy and development plan for all owned channels, in collaboration with Manager, agency, and creative team
    • Help agency manage our influencer outreach programs. Serve as face and voice of the brand for influencers, organizing 1:1s or small group meetings, participate in engagement activities and influencer trips.
    • Support the brand’s celebrity spokespeople in content  programs, events, and press activities.
    • Engage with our social media community, identifying and interacting with influencers and work closely with our agencies to guide social media/influencer engagement and amplification.
    • Understand the social media universe and stay current with social media trends, language, outlets, and resources to achieve the best performance on social platforms
    • Collaborate with key cross functional agencies & departments: in house Creative, Product Development, Market Research, PR & Social Agencies, Search & Media Agencies, Legal & Claims teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required
    • Prior Brand Marketing experience 
    • Strong knowledge of the digital influencer and media landscape domestically
    • 2-3 years of experience in social media /PR communications agency or in-house, excluding internships; experience in beauty/fashion preferred
    • Savvy in the social media space, particularly with Instagram and YouTube
    • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
    • Demonstrates a high level of maturity, resourcefulness and poise in executive and corporate settings
